Directions from Collingwood
Coming in on Hwy 26, turn right at the second set of lights at Trowbridge Street.
Turn left at Bayfield St. (first road).
Museum is ahead on the right.
Directions from Owen Sound
Coming in on Hwy 26, turn left onto Bayfield Street (right after the park on the left).
Museum is ahead on the left side.
Directions from Grey Rd. 7
Come in on Grey Rd. 7 to Hwy 26.
Turn left onto Hwy 26 (be careful not to turn onto McKibbon Dr.). This is a 5-way corner.
Turn right at the next set of lights,Trowbridge Street.
Turn left at Bayfield St. (first road).
Museum is ahead on the right.
Parking

The Museum has no official parking. However, you are welcome to use the Municipal spaces along the waterfront on either end of the building. Parking is also allowed along the west side of Collingwood Street.
Please DO NOT park. . .
. . . in the 'laneway' at either end of the building as these belong to Richardson's Boat Workd Ltd. It is illegal to block a private laneway.
. . . directly in front of the building as this part of a T corner and NOT safe for parking.

Museum Assistant 2013
Job Posting 2013-15
The successful applicant will assist in providing technical expertise and related communications regarding collection development, management and conservation, programming and exhibit development, fundraising and public relations, policy development, and facility management. For approximately 35 h/w @ $14.00/h commencing May 2013 to late August 2013.
The student MUST be returning to school full time in the fall.
Preferred candidate will have an OSSD plus; possess customer service experience, proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point; superior communication, organizational, customer service and time management skills. Some museum related courses would also be an asset. Must be available to work some evenings, holidays and weekends.

The successful applicant will assist in the day to day operation of the Meaford Museum. This includes working with the collection, building maintenance, customer service and data entry. For approximately 35 h/w @ $10.50/h commencing late June 2013 to late August 2013.
The student MUST be returning to school full time in the fall.
